Behind the Lens: Diamonds, Drama, and Paige Chohan at Mappin & Webb
When you get the call to photograph a private event for Paige Chohan, you know two things for sure: the lighting needs to be perfect, and the jewellery is going to be blinding.
Last week, I spent the afternoon at Mappin & Webb as the official event photographer, capturing all the sparkle for a very special scene in the upcoming series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. Honestly? My camera shutter has never worked so hard.

There’s a specific kind of energy when the Housewives cameras are rolling. You’ve got the production crew, the boom mics, the lighting rigs and then there’s me, trying to weave through it all to get those candid, “money” shots of the ladies.
Paige was, as always, an absolute dream to shoot. She has this effortless, “quiet luxury” vibe that just translates so well on camera. Whether she was leaning over a display of bespoke diamonds or sharing a quiet laugh with the girls, she’s a natural. She’s got that rare ability to stay focused on her guests while a whole film crew (and my lens) is inches from her face.
