A Photography Session in Samlesbury, Lancashire
I was recently commissioned to photograph some commercial photography of a range of products, including ride-on mowers, tractors, and machinery, at a Preston-based warehouse in Samlesbury, Lancashire. The objective of this shoot was to provide high-quality imagery for the company’s social media platforms and website, ensuring their brand was represented with professionalism and authenticity.
Documenting the Workplace in Action
To adhere to the client’s brief, I took a documentary-style approach, following several staff members throughout their day as they worked on machinery. This method allowed me to capture natural and dynamic images that highlight the expertise and dedication of the team. In addition to action shots, I also focused on capturing detailed interior and exterior photography of the business and showroom, providing a comprehensive visual narrative of the company’s operations.
Professional Portrait Photography
Alongside the industrial photography, I set up my mobile studio within the showroom to capture professional portraits of the business owners. Using a two-flash setup with my Profoto studio, I was able to achieve high-quality, well-lit images that present them in the best possible light. These portraits add a personal touch to the brand, helping to build trust and connection with potential clients.
